SKSH will provide comprehensive cancer service of both diagnosis and treatment. Oncology department will provide service in diagnosis, staging of cancers as well as screening. There are three modalities of treatment: Surgery, Radiation therapy and Chemotherapy. The department will provide chemotherapy alone or in collaboration with surgery and/or radiation therapy. Each treatment plan for each patient is to be determined within the department or in collaboration with other departments as a multidisciplinary approach.

Even with 21st century state-of-art medical science, treating and trying to cure cancer patients has been daunting task. The results have improved remarkably, but still frequently not satisfactory enough for patients and their families.  All our clinical service providers will promise that they will do their best in treating cancer patients.
